The DSF series 4-way reversing valves with control allow the refrigeration cycle to be inverted, switching the refrigeration unit to cooling mode in summer and to heating mode in winter. In addition, 4-way valves are used in the defrosting cycle to bypass hot gas into the iced evaporator.

The DSF-20 4-way reversing valve is a high-quality component designed for heat pump and air conditioning systems. The DSF-20 4-way reversing valve provides reliable control of the refrigerant flow direction, allowing the system to operate efficiently in both cooling and heating modes.

4-way reversible valve DSF-20. Features

  • Four tube connections:
    • Three larger diameter copper connections are positioned on the same side.
    • A smaller connection is located on the opposite side.
    • The middle connection is the permanent suction line.
    • The small connection is the permanent pressure line.
  • Solenoid pilot valve with coil:
    • Allows switching of the flow direction refrigerant when applying electrical power.
    • Two switching positions – no intermediate positions.

4-way reversible valve DSF-20. Operation

Situation 1: Coil is powered

  1. The high pressure reaches the right chamber of the valve mechanism.
  2. The pressure in the left chamber is discharged through the suction line.
  3. The valve moves to the left, opening the main paths for refrigerant flow.

Situation 2: Coil is disconnected

  1. The high pressure reaches the left chamber of the valve.
  2. The pressure in the right chamber is discharged through the lower connection.
  3. The valve moves to the right, redirecting the flows.

  1. Soudare: Use copper and hard glue ("Silfos 15"). During soldering, it is recommended to cool the valve with a damp cloth to prevent overheating.
  2. System integration:
    • Hot gas lines connect to the small connection.
    • Suction lines — at the medium-large connection.
  3. Application:
    • Suitable for "one to one" systems, used in "air-to-air" heat pumps and air conditioning systems.
    • It is effective for reversing the circuit and defrosting evaporators.

    Cumparat pentru reparatie la pompa de caldura China. Nu functiona nici la un mod de lucru. Acum este bine.
