The 12 kW Full Split EVI DC air-to-water heat pump is a solution Premium for home heating, summer cooling and domestic hot water preparation, usable in any season. Combining vapor injection technology (EVI), inverter compressor and the advanced Full Split configuration, the 12 kW Air-to-Water Heat Pump offers optimal performance and energy efficiency even at extreme outdoor temperatures of up to –30°C.

What does Full Split configuration mean and why is it important?

The 12 kW Full Split EVI DC air-to-water heat pump is the most advanced construction variant of air-to-water heat pumps. In this configuration:

  • Outdoor unit contains only fans and the air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger;
  • All critical components (compressor, inverter module, EVI system, freon-water exchanger, automation) are located in indoor unit.

This separation brings considerable advantages:

  • compressor is not exposed to frost, extending the life of the equipment;
  • Heat exchanger freon-water does not risk freezing, eliminating the need for electrical protection resistors;
  • Operating costs are lower because it is not necessary to heat the components in winter;
  • The risk of damage due to low temperatures is eliminated;
  • Installation is more flexible — the indoor unit can be mounted in well-insulated technical spaces.

EVI technology: increased efficiency in the cold season

EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection) technology allows the 12 kW Full Split EVI DC to operate optimally even in extreme temperatures. How does it work? Instead of sending all the refrigerant into a single circuit, the EVI system reintroduces some of the partially superheated vapor into the compressor. This has the effect of:

  • Increased condensing pressure and temperature;
  • Improving thermal capacity at negative outdoor temperatures (–15…–30°C);
  • Increased coefficient of performance (COP) in difficult regimes;
  • Reducing defrosting time and additional consumption in winter mode.

The result: and COP above 4.5 even in winter, comparable or superior to geothermal solutions.
