HDPE coupling 32
HDPE 32 coupling for welding is used for connecting pipes with control valves. Also for connecting to fittings or in polyethylene (HDPE) pressure piping systems for water supply and geothermal wells. The couplings are made of plastic HDPE by injection molding, followed by processing. This HDPE 32 Coupling is made of polyethylene of the types RE80 (MRS 8.0 MPa) and RE100 (MRS 10.0 MPa). The connection of pipes with HDPE 32 Coupling is carried out in two ways: fillet welding (at the top) or thermal welding with electric resistance. In fillet welding, the pipe and the part are heated with a special device, then joined under pressure. Thermal resistance welding uses fittings with integrated heating elements and specialized equipment. Intended use: use in geothermal systems with vertical or horizontal loops for collecting heat from the ground.

Geothermal wells: installation features
The wells are placed in wells with depths between 70 and 300 meters. The main types:

The energy required by the pump depends on its power, which determines the number and depth of the wells. The minimum distance between the wells is 5 m. Heating objects must be at least 5-10 m apart. The heating capacity is calculated depending on the composition of the soil. Before drilling, a geological analysis of the location is required. The section map will indicate the installation configuration and the thermal properties of the soil. The drilling is carried out by specialists, who install the heat exchanger and perform concreting. CONSTRUCTION OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEM

Filling with antifreeze solution and de-aeration is done for each circuit separately. This is done by transferring an antifreeze mixture from a separate tank, using a submersible pump. Freezing temperature of the solution for the example circuit (ground loop), for the ALTAL heat pump GWHP is approximately -5 to -12 °C. All elements of the loop must be made of anti-corrosive materials. The distribution device and the collector can be made of plastic or copper pipes, etc.
HEAT COLLECTOR MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The heat exchange pipes, 32 or 40 mm, are connected to the plastic ends by means of a U-shaped corner and a HDPE 32 coupling. Sometimes a two-pipe system is used. The plastic end is fixed with a 2-meter weight, such as a concrete pipe, to guide the heat exchanger into the well. This HDPE 32 welding coupling is used to connect the nodes by welding. After drilling and removing the drilling tool and water, if the soil allows, the pairs of heat exchange pipes are inserted without protective casing. Bentonite or cement is pumped under pressure between the heat exchangers through the central tube to completely fill them. A 90x32x8 geothermal collector is used to connect the wells. The length of the pipes in the well is equal to twice the depth of the wells plus the distance to the heat pump. An example of a two-pipe system is illustrated in the diagram. 
Connecting system elements
